An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Team Leader to join a dedicated Supported Living team in Barnard Castle, supporting 7 adults with learning disabilities to live independently and thrive in their community.

Your Role as a Team Leader:
As Team Leader, you'll play a key role in leading a team of Support Workers, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered in line with best practices and organisational values. You will work across the Barnard Castle service and may occasionally support nearby services, so being a driver with access to a car is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Support and supervise a team delivering daily care and support to adults with learning disabilities.

Lead on shift planning, medication administration, and service user reviews.

Promote independence, inclusion, and personalised outcomes for all service users.

Support with rota management, incident reporting, audits, and staff development.

Act as a positive role model and point of contact for families, health professionals, and external agencies.

Ensure compliance with safeguarding, CQC standards, and organisational policies.
Criteria
Experience: Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities is essential.
Qualifications: Ideally, Level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care Leadership & Management (or working towards).
Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Driving: Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential due to occasional travel).
