Location
This Operations Manager role covers Supported Living Services across the counties of Flintshire, Conwy, and Denbighshire in North Wales. The position is ideally suited to candidates based within an hour’s commute of these locations, including those with easy access to major road links such as the A55, A494, and A483. The role is also commutable from areas in and around The Wirral, Chester, and surrounding villages, provided candidates are comfortable with the travel requirements across North Wales.

Positive Outcome Recruitment is proud to be supporting a respected and progressive Supported Living Provider in the search for their next Operations Manager. We are not the end employer; however, we have been exclusively selected to assist them in finding the best candidate for this important role.
This organisation currently supports approximately 70 adults with Learning Disabilities across 26 Supported Living services. Their mission is to empower people to live in their own homes as independently and meaningfully as possible. They are a not-for-profit organisation, reinvesting all revenue directly back into the services and the individuals they support.
Duties
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will:

Oversee 7 Adult Service Managers across 25 Supported Living Schemes

Hold registration responsibility as the Registered Manager for the region

Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authority Commissioners

Ensure the day-to-day operations of services run effectively and efficiently

Conduct quality audits and maintain high compliance standards

Champion and deliver long-term positive outcomes for all individuals supported
Criteria
-
Passion for creating long-term positive change and outcomes
-
Must be a Car Driver and comfortable commuting across North Wales

Previous multi-site management experience essential

Proven experience in Adult Supported Living services

Strong track record of supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities

Must be eligible to work in the UK – sponsorship is not available

Sound understanding of CIW (or CQC) regulatory standards

Appointment to this role is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check and successful completion of the probationary period.
