Senior Support Worker - Children's Residential Home
Bath, Somerset
Full Time | Permanent | 42 hours per week
£30,750 per annum (includes 1 sleep-in/week) + £63 per additional sleep-in

We're looking for a dynamic and caring Senior Support Worker to join a fun and welcoming 3-bedded children's home on the southern edge of Bath. The home supports children and young people with diverse needs, offering a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where they can grow and thrive.

About the Home

Set in a peaceful spot on the southern outskirts of Bath, this modern 3-bedded home has a warm, family-style atmosphere. The team takes pride in creating a fun, engaging environment while providing structure, stability, and care tailored to each young person's needs.


Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and support your shift team to deliver high-quality care
  • Ensure safeguarding is prioritised at all times
  • Support the Registered Manager and Deputy in daily operations
  • Contribute to care planning, reviews, and behaviour support strategies
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
  • Be a role model for resilience, empathy, and consistency

What We're Looking For

  • Must have experience working in a residential children's home
  • Ideally hold Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • A passion for helping young people reach their potential
