We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a well-established, 5-bedded therapeutic children's home in Swindon. This home is proudly rated 'Good' by Ofsted and has a strong, committed team in place.

Situated on the northern outskirts of Swindon, close to the A419, our semi-rural home offers a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where children and young people can flourish. The home has generous outdoor space, therapeutic facilities, and a warm, family-style atmosphere.
Easily commutable from Cirencester, Faringdon, Royal Wootton Bassett, and Marlborough.

About the Organisation
You'll be joining a respected, values-led provider with several established children's homes across the UK. Their approach is therapeutic and person-centred, underpinned by empathy, integrity, and consistency. Every child is encouraged and supported to achieve their full potential.
Your Role as Registered Manager
You will hold overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and development of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. Duties include:

Leading and motivating a skilled residential care team

Driving continuous improvement and quality in all aspects of the home

Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted standards and children's home regulations
-
Embedding a positive, therapeutic culture

Managing budgets, resources, and recruitment effectively
-
Championing safeguarding at every level
What We're Looking For
-
Proven leadership experience as a Registered Manager or equivalent in a residential children's setting
-
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

Track record of achieving positive Ofsted outcomes

Strong safeguarding knowledge and understanding of children's home legislation

Full UK driving licence
-
Passion and resilience to lead a high-quality service
Safeguarding & Compliance
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and falls under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exemptions Order). Applicants must declare all convictions and cautions unless protected under DBS filtering rules.
